Kelly McClain Kemp brings a competitive spirit and a personal touch to financial advising. As Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor at Kemp Capital Advisors, she helps clients connect their financial decisions to the lives they want to build. Financially independent since 17, she understands the value of every dollar—and the work behind it.
A full volleyball scholarship brought Kelly from Illinois to the University of Louisville, where she earned Athletic Director’s Honor Roll recognition in all four years and first-team All-Conference USA honors twice. She later played professionally in Germany. The preparation, resilience, and teamwork that shaped her athletic career still inform her approach to serving clients.
One of ten children, Kelly draws strength from her close-knit family and the lasting influence of her late father. Those roots are an enduring part of who she is today.
Today, Kelly shares her life and her work with her husband, Barry Kemp—her best friend and the love of her life. She is the proud mother of Annabelle, Brady, and Cami, and their dog, Brody, rounds out the family. Away from work, Kelly and Barry enjoy discovering great restaurants, exploring new cities, and making time for the people they love.
